What is EVW?

The Electronic Visa Waiver (EVW) is an online travel authorisation route for eligible visitors to Saudi Arabia on short stays. It is separate from the standard tourist eVisa and Umrah visa routes. Most Canadian travellers use the Saudi eVisa instead.

Eligibility & use

EVW eligibility depends on nationality, purpose of travel, and current Saudi immigration policy. Processing is usually online, but approval is never guaranteed until confirmed by authorities.
